Hook a Kid on Fishing Rodeo
June 1st, 2023 at Campos Marina, 1301 Yscloskey Hwy, St Bernard, LA 70085. *Kids 12 and under will receive a FREE Fishing Pole and special gift with an adult fishing entry. Kid’s Category - 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes for: bass, drum, flounder, red snapper, redfish 27" and under, sheepshead, trout, and fish off the dock at Campo’s.
Adult Category - 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes for: bass, drum, flounder, red snapper, redfish 27" and under, sheepshead, speckled trout and big fish.
Cash prize for five trout stringer and redfish with most spots. Limit one entry per person per category. The same fish cannot be used in multiple categories.

Seafood Social
A seafood boil social will be held at the Los Isleños Museum and Historic Village, 1357 Bayou Rd, St Bernard, LA 70085 May 18, 2024, from 1:00 PM till 4:00 PM. Members and guests twelve and under eat free, for all other guests of members the cost is $10. Member must RSVP by May 15th, with their party count to Billy Showalter (504)583-3998 or your float lieutenant. This is a bring your own beverages/drinks event.
Membership Applications
We are taking applications for 2024/2025 membership. Membership is open to anyone at least seven years of age, however anyone under eighteen must ride with a parent or a legal guardian.
Early Bird Registration Special
We are having a special early bird registration dues discount for this year’s parade. Dues will be $200 if you pay by the Luau after that date dues are $250.
Float Positions
As in the past, we will be drawing for float positions at our next board meeting for those floats that have 18 paid in full and then each board meeting after that. This drawing will be open to all family, men's, mixed and women's floats. You may want to push your fellow float riders and get a choice position in the parade. Current float positions: 1 Goddess, 2 Royal Knight, 3 Showalter.
